Truth (Word of God Incarnate In Jesus)

You will note in the following passages, Jesus is the truth (Word of God).

Psalms 57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth (Jesus)

Psalms 100:5 The LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth (Jesus) endures to all generations.

Psalms 119:30 I (David) have chosen the way of truth (Jesus): thy judgments have I laid before me.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (Jesus is talking to the Father, the Word of God incarnate in him)

John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, except by me.

John 1:14 The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (Jesus).

John 4:23-26 23But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth (Jesus): the Father seeks such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (Jesus). 25The woman said unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus said unto her, I that speak unto thee am he (truth, Word of God).

1 John 5:6-7 6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. It is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth (Jesus). 7There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 5:33-36 33Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth (Jesus). 34But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36But I have greater witness than that of John: the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you that ye should not obey the truth (Jesus), before whose (your) eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

Galatians 2:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth (Jesus) of the gospel might continue with you.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth (Jesus), the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.

1 John 3:18-19 18My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth (Jesus). 19hereby we know that we are of the truth (Jesus), and shall assure our hearts before him.

2 John 1:2 This is for the truth’s (Holy Ghost of Jesus) sake, which dwells in us, and shall be with us for ever.

John 16:13-15 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth (Holy Ghost of Jesus), is come, he will guide you into all truth (Jesus): he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14He (Holy Ghost of Jesus) shall glorify me (Jesus): he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

John 14:15-16 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16I will pray the Father and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth (Holy Ghost of Jesus); whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth (Holy Ghost of Jesus), which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Isaiah 16:5 The throne shall be established In mercy. He (God) shall sit upon it in truth ( (In Jesus/Temple of God) in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hastening righteousness.

The above verses are only a sampling of the verses in the Bible showing Jesus is the Word of God (Truth of God). The passages also show the truth is in the born again Christian. The scriptures also show the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of this truth (Jesus).

We know when we are born again, Jesus is in us and we are in him. We will now look at some passages defining our freedom. What does it mean that a Christian is free?

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth (Jesus), and the truth (Jesus) shall make you free.

FREEDOM

We have observed scripture telling us Jesus is the truth (Word of God). Now we find that having the truth (Word of God) in us sets us free. We also see we are set free eternally.

John 8:32, 36 32Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (Jesus has set us free from sin)

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one (Adam), judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus), the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (The free gift is eternal life through Jesus)

Romans 8:1-2 1There are therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (truth) hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (We are condemned no more, but have passed from death unto eternal life)

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (We are set free by Jesus and should not attempt to put ourselves into bondage again)

Acts 22:28 The chief captain answered, with a great sum I obtained this freedom. Paul said, but I was free born. (Paul was born free nationally, and later was born free spiritually by the Holy Ghost/truth.)

Matthew 17:25-26 25Jesus prevented him, saying, what do you think, Simon? Of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute, of their own children, or of strangers? 26Peter said unto him, of strangers. Jesus says unto him, and then are the children free.

If we belong to God/Christ/Jesus, we are free. All of the responsibility is on Jesus. Jesus, the Son of man is our advocate. He tells the Father, no, they are not guilty of anything; they are free and covered by my blood. All of the sin of the world is on Jesus, not a born again child of God)

1 Peter 2:16 You are free, but do not use your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. (Even though we are free from sin, we should not abuse our freedom)

1 Corinthians 9:1 Am I (Paul) not an apostle? Am I not free?

Paul is an apostle of God and is free from the penalty of the laws of God. He is serving in behalf of his master who is responsible for Paul’s actions. Jesus is Paul’s mediator between Paul and God. Jesus presents Paul to God as “not guilty”.

1 Corinthians 7:22 He that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman (made free). (The servant is free of responsibility, it is on his master. The servant’s responsibility is merely to serve and love his master)

What does it mean, “We are free?” God is a Spirit and must be worshipped in Spirit and truth. This is a spiritual statement. We were in bondage due to Adam’s sin, but are now free from sin due to the truth (Word of God) dwelling in us.

We are aware the Word of God (truth) became incarnate in the flesh of Jesus. The Word of God came in the flesh as the Son of God to show man the way out of bondage as Moses showed the Israelites the way out of bondage from the Egyptians. We recognize that Jesus is fully God and fully man. He claimed himself to be the Son of God. He also claimed to be the Son of man.

Jesus, the Son of man gave himself as the sacrificial Lamb of God to die on the cross and take away the Adamic sin. Man can now be set free from the bondage of sin and become a free man in God once again.

Man, through Adam, lost his spiritual soul by turning his faith from God to himself. He can now be freed from this bondage of sin by accepting the free gift of eternal life by faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He has been in bondage to sin due to lack of faith and can now be set free from sin by exercising faith in Jesus.

“Ye must be born again”. Those, born again by faith and God’s salvation (grace), are now set free from all sin. We are eternally saved and secure. We are free and no longer in bondage. A man who has been enslaved and set free, is happy and constantly praises the one who set him free from bondage.

Satan is still condemned and is not free. He is furious because he was created before us. We are now free and he is not free. His fate is sealed. He tries to deter man, through every imaginable scheme, from accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and from being born again into freedom.

It appears, he succeeds most of the time (broad is the way that leads to destruction). He also tries to make the free doubt our freedom and attempts to influence us to self-impose bondage on ourselves through guilt. It is impossible for a free man to be under bondage, but he can be duped into doubting his freedom. A saved person can live like he is in bondage and shackle himself to an unproductive life.

This is Satan’s most effective ploy with Christians. If he can make a Christian doubt his salvation, he can lessen their happiness and effectiveness of focusing on Jesus and the Christian life. We will now look at some of the ways Satan uses organizations, cults, and rituals in an attempt to get Christians to feel enslaved and feel a burden of bondage when it is not necessary.

The church is the Bride of Christ and the help-meet of Jesus to bring the gospel to the lost of the world. The church was taken from Jesus and belongs to Jesus. The Holy Ghost led the apostles and early Christians, all over the known world, to set up local assemblies of the church. There can be no doubt; the local churches are ordained by God.

Satan, the great imitator, uses treachery and deceitfulness in dealing with man. He knows it is useless to deny the existence of God, so he uses false religions to deceive man. Man is without excuse, because he knows God exists as the creator. It is innate in the mind of every man that God is the creator. The crux of the problem is man must make a choice of being his own master or letting God be his master.

Satan sets up imitation churches, rituals, traditions, and false ideologies that appeals to man’s ego and seduces him into becoming enslaved to these ideologies. Satan’s offers lucrative material rewards to men who will take part in his ventures. The love of money and power causes many of Satan’s followers to desire authority over other men. Satan does not want man to be free if he can’t be free.

What are some of the methods used to enslave men, and how does Satan do this? The scripture states a born again believer is free from sin and bondage, however, Satan tries to get Christians back under self-imposed bondage.

In the remainder of this series, A few examples are used to show how Satan influences Christians with unnecessary bondage. These examples will be by topics, denominations, and cults. There are many other similar methods that are not included in this series.

The first example uses emotions and fear to enslave Christians and non-Christians alike with the ritual of “speaking in tongues” (babbling). How does it enslave and why?

The UPCI has, its central doctrine, “a person is not saved unless he speaks in tongues (babbles)”. Unless a person babbles in unintelligible utterances, he is not saved. There is not one shred of scripture to support this claim.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.

We know man looks on the outside (signs) to determine if a man’s spiritual condition. God looks at a man’s heart. God never intended for man to know for certain if another is saved or lost. God is the only one who knows the heart of man.

It would be devastating within families if a member died and it was certain the family member was in hell. Jesus said to let the tares and wheat grow together and the angels would bind the tares in bundles to burn them at the end of time. Jesus said, “If you root up the tares, you also root up the wheat with the tares”. The wheat entering heaven will have the memory wiped away regarding those who enter hell.

God does give us indications to know who might be lost and who might be saved, so we can separate ourselves from their environments and evil habits. We can observe these signs, but still not know for sure, because we look on the outside and God looks at the heart. We can know our own heart by comparing it with God’s Word.

Galatians 5:18-26 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

This passage provides some guidelines, but is not fool-proof indicator to know who is saved and who is lost. Note the fruits of those who are saved. Babbling is not included in this list. The fruits above are signs of a born again Christian.

God does not want us to know for sure who is saved and who is not saved. He is the final judge and he only knows for sure. How does a person know if he is saved? A person is saved by faith alone in the promise of God. As a person matures in the faith, he becomes more sure because he has walked and talked with God by faith, and God has proved himself to the Christian.

Why would Satan and/or a denomination want to use something as absurd as babbling (unintelligible tongues) to enslave others? God makes it clear that salvation comes by faith. If Satan can deceive a person into thinking they are saved by gimmicks and emotions instead of faith, they will never become dependent on Christ by faith. They place their faith in their own ego and ability to babble.

They have been told by false preachers and family members that babbling is the sign from God that they are saved. They have been convinced that the ability to babble is evidence of the Holy Ghost in them.

Jesus and John the Baptist made it clear. Jesus baptizes a person with the Holy Ghost when they choose by faith to accept Jesus as Savior and God and the promise from Jesus that they are sealed for eternity by this Holy Ghost baptism. The Bible makes it clear that this is the Holy Ghost of Jesus and it raises a person spiritually and he instantly passes from death into eternal life in Christ. He has become a new creature in Christ, is birthed by this action into the family of God, and becomes a child of God.

The born again person becomes one with Jesus through the baptism (quickening) of the Holy Ghost. Salvation is a free gift from God and is given to each man who places his faith (trust) in Jesus as Savior and Lord by the promises of Jesus. There are no bells ringing and no babbling, it is a miracle birth accomplished by Jesus and not by the man himself.

Speaking in unintelligible tongues (babbling) has long been a phenomenon of chanting and demonic incantations when idol worshippers are muttering to their gods. Speaking in intelligible tongues (foreign languages) was used by the apostles through the Holy Ghost after the ascension of Jesus into heaven. The apostles and early disciples were empowered by the Holy Ghost to speak foreign languages in order to preach the gospel to the whole known world during that time.

It is a fact of history, speaking in foreign languages (intelligible tongues) through the Holy Ghost ceased at the death of the apostles. During the life of the apostles, all books of the NT were written and foreign languages were no longer needed. Once the churches were established in all nations, speaking in foreign languages ceased.

The speaking in tongues of today (babbling) is satanic, but is used by Satan to hold people in bondage and keep them from faith in Christ. Their faith is in their own abilities to babble. They are told by their leaders they blaspheme the Holy Ghost and will be lost if they cease to babble. They are in bondage to Satan and the Pentecostal cult.

When they begin to babble, they are convinced they have received the Holy Ghost of Christ, not because of Jesus, but because they can babble. Since unintelligible utterance (babbling) is nowhere to be found in God’s Word, it is a lie of Satan. The person will never become saved by faith in the promises of Christ as long as his faith is in his ego of babbling. Satan has him in bondage to a gimmick.

When talking with babblers, you will find out soon they are in bondage to babbling. It does not take long before the subject babbling pops up. It is the most important aspect of their belief, not Jesus.

How can a person suddenly start babbling? Isn’t that supernatural? Yes and no! Anyone can begin babbling through demon influence or mind suggestion. It normally happens when someone else with satanic influences lays their hands on you and you do not reject the passage of these influences from them to you through the demonic spirits. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. Those that do not resist are easy prey to his deceptions.

Satan can either possess someone or influence them with suggestive trances and they will begin to babble. How can we know it is of Satan or of God? All actions must be checked with scripture. “Try the spirits to see if they be of God”. You can try the spirits by comparing actions with God’s scripture.

BAPTISM

This same denomination and others insists that water baptism is necessary for salvation. This appears to be trivial in Christianity, because most Christians believe a person should be baptized by water as a symbol that they are dying to their own egos.

Satan is redirecting the focus of faith in Jesus toward something the person must do to gain salvation. Salvation must be 100% by a righteous God with zero input from sinful man. The physical act of water baptism is an attempt by Satan and man to make salvation also dependent on man himself. Man cannot have one iota of input into salvation, it is entirely of God. Water baptism is an act of man, not God. Jesus baptizes us with the Holy Ghost to save us.

Baptism by water for the Christian is nothing more than a statement by the Christian that he has already been saved by Christ, has died to himself, belongs to God, and has ceded his will to the will of Christ. It is not salvation, but a mere statement that he is already saved and wants the world to know this. Satan and some denominations use water baptism as another method of making man think he is part of salvation and as important as God in salvation.

ETERNAL SECURITY

Another item of bondage is that one must always stay prayed up for any sin they commit or they will go to hell if they die before getting forgiveness. When a person is born again, he becomes a child of God for eternity. He has eternal security and has passed from death unto eternal life. A born again person (Christian) is set free from the bondage of sin and is no longer bound by sin.

Satan and his followers try to convince man that he is part of his own salvation by getting forgiveness for each wrong act he does in his life. Once again, this is making man part of the process of salvation. It says the salvation of man is dependent on his ability to keep from sinning and if he does sin, he must perform another act of repentance to keep his salvation. It is equivalent to stating his salvation is not in Jesus through faith, but is in his own actions to keep a list of his sins and continually get forgiveness for them.

Faith has been removed from the promise of Christ and the burden of salvation placed back on the person. It becomes salvation by man in his own abilities to either keep from sinning or keeping up with his sins. This idea is not faith in Christ. It has the person still under the bondage of Satan and those false teachers above him.

Even if a person is a Christian, this satanic theism makes the Christian doubt his salvation, and he becomes an ineffective Christian. He is constantly depressed and unhappy, or is too busy keeping his list of wrongdoings that he cannot be a help to others. He is definitely under bondage to Satan and/or his spiritual leaders. Their focus is away from their faith in Jesus and the peace they need in their lives to be happy in Christ.

TITHE

Other than cults, such as Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness, etc., I don’t know of any denomination that requires anyone to tithe in order to be a member of their local church.

Since a Christian is free of the law and bondage, he is not required by these churches to contribute a penny to the church. The commandments are written in men’s hearts when they are born again. Yes, most Protestant churches teach the following principles of scripture on one’s possessions, but leave the decisions regarding their possession entirely between each member and God.

Luke 12:33-34 33Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts. 34For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. (Jesus stated that the most important principle is the heart. Since God owns the universe, he does not need our money, but he knows our priorities have an effect on our lives)

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

God owns everything, but as the church is a help-meet and the Bride of Christ, he allows the church to share in his work or life. God loves a cheerful giver, not a person who has to be in bondage to a rule or law.

The money a person gives is between himself and God. He gives according to the dictates of his heart. When offering plates are passed, a person can give none or as much as he desires. No person need know how much money the person gives. There are envelopes to conceal the amount he places in the plates. He does not have to sign or write anything on the envelopes.

If you attend a church that requires you to give a certain amount or you cannot be a member, it must be some denomination of which I am not familiar. There are many cults who make it a requirement of membership that certain sums be given or certain amounts of literature sold. You should run as fast as possible from those cults.

Some gripe about giving money to the church, but that is a smokescreen to defend their own actions. God wants 100% of a Christian’s heart and soul, not 10%. The full 100% of everything you are or have belongs to God. God owns all; you are only using his assets in this life. When you die, you cannot take any of this with you. I have never seen a Hearst pulling a U-haul.

The actions in our lives which count are the deeds of the heart, whether they are good or bad. Your rewards in heaven will be based on the treasures you send ahead of yourself. If you are a Christian and use your money here to promote preaching and teaching to lost souls and help other Christians to grow in Christ, you are sending your treasures ahead of you to heaven.

If you spend everything here on your own lusts, then you will have few or no rewards when you get to heaven. Some Christians will get to heaven with their britches on fire.

The person, who gives in an effort to reach the lost for Christ in cheerfulness and love, helps himself more than he does anyone else. Regardless of the amount he gives, he gives it cheerfully out of a grateful and loving heart toward God and the lost Christianity is trying to reach for Christ. He is not in bondage to his contributions, but is free in his contributions.

CUSTOMS

Most churches teach abstinence from different practices. The church realizes many actions are not damning but can inhibit someone from being a good witness to others. Some practices harm the person’s well being even though they are not thought of as grievous. The avoidance of these practices helps the Christian to live his life to the fullest in God and to be the best witness possible. One practice is the drinking of alcoholic beverages.

An alcoholic beverage within itself is not harmful in moderation. However, there are certain warnings from scripture and churches regarding the use of certain items and practices. A person who drinks moderately is not removed from a Protestant church and is still a member. Self discipline is never a bad thing and it never hurts to leave off a questionable habit or practice if it is not required in a person’s life.

Preachers do teach that it is wise to “abstain from all appearances of evil”. If something appears to be evil by society and the church, it is better to abstain from it to become a better witness to those who are watching your habits as a Christian.

Some churches do not let a member hold certain positions, if he uses any alcohol. There could be a contradiction of the churches teachings and habits of the teacher. He might be teaching teens the dangers of trying to emulate others. If they see him drinking, he might lost some of them, not to the Word of God, but as a good witness to them. He is still a member of the church, but is denied the position of leadership in the church.

This is not bondage; the person is still free to live his life and drink his beverages, he is restricted only in the offices he may hold in the church. He is still free to live his life for Christ and witness to whomever he contacts. He is still free to attend the church and have fellowship with the body of believers.

I use this home-spun parable to teach a lesson of spiritual perspective. A family moves into a new neighborhood, and another family invites them over for a meal. A great meal is prepared; the greatest hospitality, greetings, and friendliness are extended to the guests.

When the meal is served there is only wine served to match the food. These hosts are Catholic, and wine is a common beverage with their meals. They have been great hosts and treated the guests with friendliness.

The guest is opposed to drinking wine and might say, “Sir, I will not drink wine, it is a disgrace to God and is a sin”. Who has the wrong attitude, the host or the guest?

The host has been most gracious out of the goodness of his heart to make me welcome in the neighborhood. I have just treated his graciousness with rude remarks and insulted him with them. It is obvious my heart was the one that was wrong in my actions and not the host. This is why God looks on the heart instead of the outside and the actions of man.

Some individuals perceive any alcohol as sin, but most preachers and churches perceive it as an item in society that would be better viewed if abstained. The individual is still free from bondage as churches do not remove these members from roll, but only limit their participation in office they can hold within the local assembly.

Most everyone realizes many things are okay in moderation, but is bad in excess. Eating food excessively can lead to poor health and health problems.

BONDAGE TO FALSE DOCTRINES

The next items considered as attempts at bondage come from a view of the Catholic Church. Jesus is the only way to the Father. A person cannot get forgiveness from the Pope, Mary, or any person Sainted by the Catholic Church.

This is another attempt at bondage by Satan. The focus is taken away from faith in Christ and placed on the Pope, Mary, and the Saints. All faith and focus must be on Jesus/God. Even the Holy Ghost testifies of Jesus. The Pope, falsely, reserves the supreme authority to interpret scripture. The Bible teaches the Holy Ghost will instruct us in all wisdom.

The Catholic Church places others under bondage and becomes their masters. He tells the masses he has the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatever he would bind on earth would be bound in heaven. Jesus is the only one who has the keys to heaven or hell.

Jesus was referring to the preaching of the gospel when he spoke to Peter. The preaching of God’s Word is binds or looses people from their sins, not Peter, the Pope, or any man. This is an attempt by Satan and the Catholic Church to place man in bondage instead of freeing him from sin by faith in Jesus.

Praying and worshipping of Mary and the Saints is another attempt by Satan to take the focus of faith in Jesus and place it on mankind. The Catholic Church still had Jesus on their cross. The Christian church has only the signification of the cross without Jesus showing Jesus is no longer on the cross, but in heaven at the right hand of God. Jesus is resurrected and so are we. We are free and secure in Jesus by faith. We are also resurrected with Jesus into the freedom of everlasting life. Jesus is to be the focus of our faith, not another man.

The second most used ritual to place their members under bondage is transubstantiation. The Lord’s Supper is only a remembrance of the sacrifice by Jesus of giving his body and blood for the atonement of the sin of the world.

The Catholics teach that the bread and wine actually become the exact body and blood of Jesus as they consume it. I have Catholic friends tell me it is the most exhilarating feeling to know it is turning into the exact body and blood of Jesus as they partake of it. They are sure this act causes them to become more of Jesus as they partake of this ritual. To abstain from this ritual, they become less of Jesus and lose their spiritual essence in God.

It is easily to see this is another ploy by their leaders to place them under bondage to the Catholic Church and their leaders. It can be proven from scripture this ritual is nothing more than a remembrance of the atonement of Jesus and he lives through our lives by faith and his grace. This bread and wine does not change into the body of Christ as a person consumes it.

Maybe the saddest of all cults is Satan’s lies of reincarnation. Once again, Satan has relied on man placing his faith on his own abilities rather on the Creator God who formed man from the dust of the ground.

Just as Satan was ousted from heaven for his desire to be his own god; Adam was ousted from Eden for his desire to be his own god, Cain was ousted from the presence of God and family into the land of Nod for his desire to be his own god; man is still demanding to be his own god rather than to honor the God who created him.

The Eastern cults and reincarnation is another imitation by Satan to deceive the masses and take the focus off God and Jesus. Yes, he will succeed in deceiving many. All deceived by the great lie of reincarnation are no different than all who now follow all the fallen spirits and other cult imitations into the Lake of Fire prepared for Satan and his angels.

There are numerous cults placing mankind under bondage rather than setting them free from sin and bondage. Most cultists are under bondage (obligation) to work constantly to support the cult or they will be excommunicated from it.

No man will ever be able to overcome his own failures, except through the faith in Jesus and the free gift of eternal life in Christ. Those who refuse this only way of salvation doom themselves to the Lake of Fire. Man has his own free will and God cannot interfere with man’s choice to follow Satan and his destination.

In Christian churches, all are set free from bondage when they accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. We are born again of Christ and owe our allegiance only to God through Jesus. The difference is staggering, freedom from bondage and sin through Jesus as opposed to bondage to the cults and its leaders. In most cults, the members must either give a certain amount to the church or sell literature to meet economic quotas. If they do not, they are excommunicated by those cults and told they will go to hell.

In Christian churches with sound doctrine, each member is directly responsible to God for his actions and must deal with God directly through the person of Jesus. The leaders of the protestant churches have no direct control over the actions of the members, God. No person can come unto the Father except through the Son. The leaders of the church are appointed by membership votes. The membership can remove any leader at any time with a vote of 51% of the members.

All members are urged to study the scriptures and let the Holy Spirit of God guide them in their studies so they can grow in faith and the grace of God. They are taught they have direct access to God through the person of Jesus and the Holy Ghost. No person has to go through a leader of the church to access the throne of God.

Since God will judge everyone for their acceptance or rejection of his Son, it would be extremely foolish for any person to place his belief in doctrines others would tell him. Since each person will be judged according to the Words of the Bible, it should be obvious each person should study the scriptures contained in the Bible to be sure of their salvation.

No person is saved by feelings or emotions. Salvation comes by faith and God’s grace and nothing else. God is a spirit and must be worshipped in spirit and truth. Worshipping in spirit does not imply emotional outbursts, but worshipping God in one’s mind and not by the flesh. Worshipping God in truth means to always make sure your actions are according to God’s Word in his Son.
