This article is written as a possible scenario for the appearance of the antichrist into the world. The writing is based on clear Biblical prophecy, guesses of unclear Biblical prophecy, and the current world situation. I present most data as viewed from the scriptures, but insert some of my own thoughts generated by my understanding of the end times according to the total sum of all the scriptures.
The first event that takes place is the Rapture. This is a Biblical teaching and comes direct from the scriptures. There are some of Satan’s children who take these scriptural teachings, which come directly from the Bible, and try to insinuate they come from a person of history, John Darby. This is a diversionary tactic and is totally untrue.
In my series of the “Rapture”, it is backed by scripture and zero input from any John Darby. I know “nothing” about John Darby other than some statements placed on the boards by some of Satan’s children. It is easily observable, that the series is backed by passages from the Bible.
Another erroneous statement made by some is Rapture is not in the Bible. That is a lie by those who make this claim. Everyone is aware the original manuscripts of the NT were written in Greek and translated into our English version of the Bible.
The words “caught up together with them in the clouds” and the remaining parts of the passage in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 means the same as the one word “Rapture”. The Greek scholars attest to this fact, we just use the one word to describe the event of the passage in 1 Thessalonians.
We start the description of the antichrist with the Rapture which removes all Christians and the Holy Ghost from this world and allows the antichrist to step forward as the new leader of the one-world government. The following scripture tells us the antichrist cannot come until the Holy Ghost is taken out of the world.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 3Let no man deceive you by any means: that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 4Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6Now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. 7The mystery of iniquity does already work: only “he who now let’s will let, until he is taken out of the way”.
8Then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The Antichrist cannot be revealed until the Holy Ghost and the church is taken out of the world. The world will have degraded to a chaotic state where no “country” honors God, and all countries join in unity for the establishment of the one-world government and one-world religion. This is the “falling away” of mankind from honoring God.
When the antichrist leader steps forward, he will claim to be God (the Messiah who was promised). Verse 4 tells us there is one in the world who must step aside (be taken out of the world) before the antichrist is revealed. Jesus is in heaven, but his Holy Ghost is on the earth in the hearts of Christians. When the Rapture takes place, the Holy Ghost will take all of the Christians to be with Jesus in the clouds of heaven. After the Holy Ghost and church has stepped out of the earth, the antichrist has no one to restrain him and will then step forward as the promised Messiah.
Verse 8-12 states he is not the true Messiah, but is the evil one who has been promised, the son of perdition (antichrist). Remember Verse 4 regarding the antichrist sitting in the Temple and claiming he is God. This will happen at the midpoint of the Tribulation. After the Rapture, God begins pouring out his wrath on the wicked of the world during the next seven years.
Which nation will produce the false Messiah? There have been many attempts by scholars to answer this question with only a few passages of scripture that may or may not be plausible explanations of his origin. Remember, verse 11 says he will deceive many, and God will allow those of unbelief to be deceived as they wish. The antichrist will deceive many into believing he is the promised Messiah through many false miracles.
I make the assumption that the antichrist will be a leader of one of the deceived Jews or a leader of Islam. We know that God claimed Isaac was Abraham’s “only” son. God did not recognize Ishmael as Abraham’s son. (Genesis 22:2 He said, take now thy son, thy “only son Isaac”, whom thou love, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.)
Friction has always existed between the offspring of Ishmael (Arabs) and Isaac (Israel). The descendents of Ishmael have continuously warred against the Israelites, probably because of jealousy. Both the Arabs (mostly Islamic) and Israel (Jews) are expecting a Messiah to rule the world on their behalf. Islam believes it will be the Messiah of Allah. Israel rejected the true Messiah (Jesus) and is expecting another Messiah.
Both groups are expecting someone to come and offer them a kingdom on this earth, so each nation envisions ruler ship of the earth. Both believe themselves to be the elite of the world with a Messiah granting them this power, but it will never happen. Both groups will be deceived by the false Messiah (antichrist) into believing he is the promised King. After the Tribulation, Jesus will set up an earthly kingdom for 1000 years and will reign over the earth from Jerusalem with a rod of iron.
The one true sign to indicate the last seven years before the millennium begins is the signing of a covenant between the antichrist and Israel to rebuild the Temple. Jesus did not physically return to earth during the Rapture. He merely called his bride (Church) to meet him in the air, and they would be with him when he returns to earth after the Tribulation.
Why would the antichrist allow Israel to rebuild the Temple to worship their God? He has an ulterior motive. The Temple site has another structure existing there at present. It is the Dome of the Rock, built by Islam, to commemorate Muhammad’s false claim that he ascended to heaven in the presence of Allah. This is the most Holy site of Muhammad, even trumping the site of Mecca. Even though this site is in Jerusalem, the Holy City of Israel and God, the Muslims will sacrifice their entire national debt and manpower to defend the destruction of the “Dome of the Rock”
For the antichrist to get Islam to remove the Dome of the Rock to build the Temple on this site, it will take a miracle of negotiations. For the antichrist to persuade both the Muslims (Islam) and Israel (Jews) to agree on a covenant for the rebuilding of the Temple at this site, and a guarantee of peace between the two warring factions, it would be considered the greatest miracle of political diplomacy ever achieved.
The antichrist would be considered a master ruler who brings peace, even though, verses 8 and 10 verifies this is an extremely wicked person possessed by Satan. The next statement is one of my thoughts, which I have also heard expressed by some scholars.
The antichrist reveals himself immediately after the Rapture. It is well known the wicked enemies of Christ today hate Christians and Jews. However, it is also well known the real haters, antichristian and anti-Jew haters try to claim the Christians are the haters because we present God’s Word stating against homosexuality, lust of the flesh, pornography, abortion, etal, and all that is wicked. Christians hate the sin, but we do not hate the sinner. We present the gospel and warnings in an effort to divert the sinner from the everlasting torments of hell.
Because, Christians hate the sin, the wicked haters constantly call Christians “the haters”. As soon as the Rapture takes the Christians out of this world, I believe the antichrist leader will step forward, claim he is the Messiah and was responsible for ridding the world of haters. This would immediately endear him to the wicked children of Satan who are the real haters, because they cannot stand to hear God’s Word coming from the Christians. They know these words condemn them to an eternity of tormenting flames.
The antichrist will become an immediate hit with the wicked of the world. He will easily be ushered in as the Messiah and ruler of the one-world government. He will set up or use the method of buying and selling in a cashless society. Just as each person has credit cards, they will be issued implants of chips into their hand or forehead which will be used to transfer money from their account to the merchants via the present methods of scanning.
Each person will be issued a chip with 18 digits 6×6x6 numbers. I have seen this written in books over 20 years ago that the 18 digits to the decimal 10 base will be enough numbers to identify each person in the world with a different number. Everyone will be assigned a number in the main data base (computer in Switzerland and slave computers located throughout the world). The chip will be implanted on each person with their number encoded along with multiple bits of information. It has been stated that these chips can used also be used to keep up with each individual’s location by Satellite.
Once the antichrist assumes power, he will make it a death penalty to be a Christian. At this time, the present Jewish nation will not care as they do not consider themselves Christians anyway. This allegiance to the new Messiah may be one of the conditions of the covenant between the antichrist and Israel along with the peace plan and rebuilding of the Temple.
There will be two supernatural witnesses preaching Jesus during this time (most likely Moses and Elijah). There will also be 144000 Jews converted to Christianity at this time and they will preach Jesus throughout the world. The scriptures indicate the antichrist has no power over the two witnesses or the 144000 preachers during their designated period of preaching.
During this seven year period, there will be millions of people on the earth who accept Christ as Lord and Savior at the risk of having their heads chopped off with the sword (Choice of death to Muslim enemies). Anyone accepting Christ as Lord and Savior during this time, and refuses to bow down to the antichrist as the Messiah, will have their number in the master computer cancelled. They will not be able to buy or sell as there will be no cash. All transactions at this time will be electronic. I feel sure each machine or place of scanning will immediately identify each offending person and they will be arrested and have their heads severed.
At the halfway point of the seven years, the Temple will be rebuilt by the Jews where the Dome of the Rock now stands, and the two previous Temples have stood. Why would the antichrist allow the Jews to rebuild the Temple? At the midway point of the Tribulation, the Temple will be rebuilt, and the dedication service is scheduled. Remember, the Dome of the Rock had to be torn down to build the Temple, and this site is where Muhammad is claimed to have ascended to heaven in the presence of Allah (Satan).
At the dedication, the antichrist will enter the Temple, sit in the chief seat and declare himself as God (The Abomination of Desolation). He has probably already previously declared he was the promised Messiah. After this, he will void the remainder of the seven year covenant with the Jews, turn on them, gather the armies of the world against them in Jerusalem, and try to destroy them.
After the last three and a half years, the armies of the world will assemble together to attack Jerusalem, and Christ will appear on the earth. He will come in great glory and all of the dead in Christ including the Raptured will come with him. He will destroy the armies of the antichrist and bring the seven years of Tribulation to an end. The antichrist, which has been completely taken over by Satan will be bound by an angel and locked up in hell for 1000 years.
During this time (1000 years), Jesus will rule the entire world from Jerusalem and the new Holy City of God which has come down from heaven. After the millennium, time will be no more, and all will be rolled over into eternity. All of the children of God will be in heaven with God for eternity, and all the children of Satan will be with Satan in the Lake of Fire and outer darkness for eternity.
Regardless of the nationality of the antichrist, whether he is from the line of Ishmael, Jews, or Romans, the end results will be the same.
